ER5183 aluminum MIG welding wire
 
ER5183 is a magnesium close to 5% and higher manganese content of aluminum magnesium welding wire, with good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, high strength, good ductility. After the welding of the welding seam is still white, it can provide a good color for the welded joints. For some of the alloys, the strength of the welded joints is slightly higher than 5356.


 
Uses: used as a filler metal for argon arc welding of aluminum magnesium (3%Mg) alloy, which is used in the locomotive, chemical pressure vessel, nuclear industry, shipbuilding, refrigeration, boiler and aerospace industry.

Performance & Usage
 
This type of pwireuct is widely used in general welding material with the Mg of 
4.5%, which can be used in jointing or overlay forging and casting alloys 
processing in the same grade. Usage:pressure vessel,nuclear,ship-building,boiler,space industry ,etc .
Shielding gas Argon, Helium, or Argon/Helium—mixtures.

Note :

 
1. The wire should not be at operating temperature greater than 65 degrees of aluminum alloy structure
in use, because in the ambient temperature in welding joint reply Esheng stress corrosion cracking.
 
2. Welding should be strict and clear the edge of the welding of the oxide film and oil, otherwise it will
cause welding seam welding and cause the hole, slag and other defects.
 
3. Welding can be used for holding molten metal plate, in order to ensure the weld forming, and avoid
hot crack.
